At Thrive Learning Academy, our program is uniquely designed around a whole-child teaching approach that integrates strategic social and emotional learning supports with natural environment instruction. We embed academic and life skills into real-world settings using an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-inspired framework, ensuring that instruction is individualized, meaningful, and effective.
Thrive Learning Foundations Program (Grades K–4)
Thrive Foundations Program is specially designed for our youngest learners, providing a nurturing, structured environment where students in grades K-4 build the core skills needed for long-term success. We proudly serve students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, speech and language impairments, and social-emotional challenges. Through individualized supports focused on communication, emotional regulation, early academics, and social development, our goal is to equip each child with the tools and confidence to successfully transition back to their LEA and thrive in a general education setting.
Starting Fall 2026 Thrive Pathways Program (Grades 5- 8)
The Thrive Pathways Middle School Program serves students in grades 6–8 who benefit from individualized instruction, structured routines, communication support, and a nurturing learning environment. Pathways bridges the important years between elementary school and high school by helping students strengthen their academic skills, build independence, develop healthy relationships, and become confident self-advocates.
Students receive standards-aligned, differentiated instruction through the Unique Learning System and other evidence-based resources. Teaching is supported by Applied Behavior Analysis–inspired strategies, visual supports, Functional Communication Training, Zones of Regulation, positive behavioral interventions, and hands-on learning experiences.
At Thrive, middle school is more than a bridge between childhood and high school—it is a pathway toward independence, purpose, and possibility.
Starting Fall 2026 Thrive Communication Connections Program (TCCP)
The Thrive Communication Connections Program (TCCP) is an evidence-based, student-centered communication framework designed to serve students in Kindergarten through 4th Grade with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Delays (DD), and related disabilities. This refined program document is rooted in the IEP goals, present levels of performance, and identified supports of the current student cohort.
The program is built on a multi-modal communication philosophy — recognizing that each student's 'voice' may take many forms, including verbal speech, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), sign language, gestures, vocalizations, and facial expressions. All are equally valid and valued.
